    The Indian Business Alliance of North Dakota is a joint venture of the North Dakota Indian Affairs Commission and the North Dakota Department of Commerce to grow and strengthen Native American entrepreneurship both on and off the state’s reservations. The Alliance is overseen by Agency MABU, a Native-owned business based in Bismarck.

    EXECUTIVE BOARD

    Composition: The Executive Board is comprised of representatives from the State agencies (ND Indian Affairs Commission and ND Department of Commerce) that are leading the efforts in North Dakota to establish the Indian Business Alliance. The Executive Board also includes representatives from the Native American-owned organizations that are operating the Indian Business Alliance.

    Role: The role of the Executive Board is to provide overall direction and decision making relative to strategy, implementation, and funding of the North Dakota Indian Business Alliance.

    Terms: Members will serve one-year terms, with the option to be renewed annually.

    RESOURCE COUNCIL

    Terms: Members will serve one-year terms, with the option to be renewed annually.
